and, that's good. I can only assume it will do itself proud when called on to give up its life's blood (figuratively speaking). Well, it looks nice, seems well made, got good reviews, wasn't too cheap, nor too expensive.It has yet to "save" my system. Hard to rate a device whose function is to lay down its life so another may live.
Don't waste hundreds of dollars more on surge protectors that don't protect as well and definitely don't risk your expensive electronics on those $6 - $20 surge protectors. I read lots of reviews and researched the competitors websites before deciding on Panamax. I purchased 2 of the PM8-HT surge protectors for my high definition TV's and surround systems. The Panamax units have both line conditioning to filter out noise and coax protection for your cable or satellite system. They have the best protection for the best price and their warranty claim process can't be beat.
